Networks are now reporting that the suspect in the Holocaust Museum shooting is 89-year-old James von Brunn. Let me tell you, there’s a treasure trove of information for Brunn on the internet.
First of all, he’s entirely convinced that Jews control the media and America’s money source. In the same article, he denies that Hitler ever gassed the Jews and says that the dictator’s biggest mistake was not doing so.
Second, here’s a profile matching his description on Wikipedia. Brunn claims he attempted to arrest the “Federal Resrve (sic) Board of Governors” for treason. He writes that he was tried and convicted in a “kangaroo” court in Washington, was sentenced to federal prison, and that his conviction was “confirmed by a racially motivated Appeals Court”. He served 6.5 years in prison. From his page:
Von Brunn champions Western Culture, and the practice of Eugenics. He states that Marxism-Multiculturalism-Judaism is the Enemy of Mankind.citing Talmudic quotes to “Kill the Best Gentiles !”
Third, here’s his personal website. A sample of his writings on that page:
Here are 350pp of FACTS condensing libraries of information about the Talmud, Democracy, Marx, Genetics, Money, Aryans, Negroes, Khazars, The Holy Bible, Treason, Mass-media, Mendelism, Race, the “Holocaust” and a host of suppressed “bigoted” subjects, all supported by quotations from many of history’s greatest personages. Learn who is responsible for the millions of Aryan crosses covering the world’s battlefields. Why our sons and daughters died bravely but in vain. Learn why the “browning of America will alter everything in society from politics and education to industry, values and culture.” (TIME 4-9-90).
This carefully documented treatise exposes the JEWS and explains what you must do to protect your White family. Kill the Best Gentiles! Is a must for every concerned parent and a manual for every student of World History.
Finally, there’s this. Brunn appears to be as anti-neoconservative as he is antisemitic. Fox is reporting that Brunn had an exchange with novelist Tom Clancy a few years ago, in which Brunn called Colin Powell a certain derogatory term. Clancy reportedly responded by a term of his own to describe Brunn.
Update: Brunn was arrested in 1981 after he walked into the Federal Reserve building with a satchell containing a bomb and carrying a shotgun, angry over interest rates and what he viewed as the Jews controlling the money supply. He was arrested and sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.

So I’m assuming that Obama won’t use an SUV as president, correct? And Congressional Democrats, including the chauffeured Nancy Pelosi, are all prepared to drive around in Priuses, right? Or are only certain people required to give stuff up?
Pitching his message to Oregon’s environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to “lead by example” on global warming, and develop new technologies at home which could be exported to developing countries.
“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.
“That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen,” he added.
Obama, for the record, drives an SUV hybrid. His previous car of choice was the Chrysler 300, but he gave that up when his eco-hypocrisy was exposed. Speaker Pelosi, another global warming alarmist, immediately demanded a large plane capable of a non-stop trip to California when she took office. She’s been known to get around town in a 2005 Chevy Tahoe.
Perhaps Obama should concentrate on his own habits, as well as those of his dear friends, before telling Americans they can’t keep their homes at 72 degrees.
“I like John Kennedy too,” Axelrod said. “That’s about the only thing we have in common with this gentleman from Hamas. We all agree that John Kennedy was a great president, and 加速器怎么选择节点 - Sogou:2021-2-17 · 可众用速游加速器是最牛的加速器啦,它是完全免费的一款加速器,玩游戏时一点都不卡,而且节点也不少,速游有一个可众选择最好的节点的功能,方便又容易操作。效果不错,可众用。.”
Er, “gentleman from Hamas”? It’s a terror group, Mr. Axelrod. Michael Goldfarb notes Axelrod’s attempt to tread safely:
Note the slipperiness. Axelrod first distances himself from the “gentleman from Hamas,” but in the next breath he embraces the gentleman/terrorists’ comparison to Kennedy, pronouncing it “flattering.” Only recently Obama declared that “nobody has spoken out more fiercely on the issue of anti-Semitism than I have.” Apparently there’s an exception for when anti-Semites compare Obama to Kennedy. Then all bets are off!
Obama’s church also happened to reprint an article by Hamas on the Mid-East crisis.
By the way, NiceDeb looks into the disturbing trend of terrorist and dictator endorsements of the Messiah. It includes everyone from Castro to FARC. Just think: Our next president may be Castro-approved!

Well, it’s official. Both houses of Congress can’t get enough damn nerve together to protect citizens who report suspicious activity. Hesitation, in fear of consequences, by citizens can prove disastrous. Audrey Hudson of the Washington Times reports:
The Senate just rejected an amendment that would have added the “John Doe” protection provision to an education bill. The vote was 57 for and 39 against, but the vote involved a Senate procedural rule that required a three-fifths majority for approval.
Michelle also has the roll. All Republicans, along with 7 Democrats, voted for the measure. All “Nays” were from donkeys. Brownback, Feinstein, Johnson, and Obama weren’t voting. Michelle writes:
Bottom line: The Dems believe that if you see something, you should just shut up.
This fight is not over. There still is a final conference report to be hashed out. Keep your phones lit. The Senate Dems need to hear from you.
Interesting to note: Hillary voted for the measure. All other major Democrats (Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Leahy, Biden, Boxer, Dodd, and company) voted against protecting Americans.

If aliens ever land on Earth, Mazlan Othman will be the first person to officially hold talks with them. Or at least she’ll be the first United Nations official to do so. That’s because the global body has decided to appoint the obscure Malaysian physicist to the post of ambassador to aliens.
Mazlan Othman, the head of the UN’s little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), is to describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.
She is scheduled to tell delegates that the recent discovery of hundreds of planets around other stars has made the detection of extraterrestrial life more likely than ever before – and that means the UN must be ready to coordinate humanity’s response to any “first contact”.
During a talk Othman gave recently to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials.
“When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”
But let’s assume they are more intelligent and developed than simple microbes. Let’s assume they’re capable of walking and fly in space ships. What makes the UN think these individuals will come in peace and be willing to sit down for tea?
If they can land here, and assuming they don’t carry some disease that immediately wipes out the human race, why would they sit down with inferior life forms? After all, they’re the ones capable of reaching other planets with life — not us.
It’s quite presumptuous to think they just can’t wait to talk with us when they could enslave us all and take over the planet. Not everything in the universe takes diplomacy to the level of pansy-ass, UN.
I’m ending this post now. Because we’ve officially reached the point of absurdity.

Unless something changes to even out the financial load, we’re witnessing the beginning of the end of the republic. You simply can’t maintain this country with a majority able to vote for the minority to pay for everything. You can’t have a majority with no financial interest in the federal government and who runs it.
Imagine a future where a minority of Americans have to pay all of the taxes but don’t have enough political power to determine who runs the nation. The majority, with no financial interest in maintaining limited government or smaller budgets, would keep electing leaders who promise to take even more money from the minority to give to the majority.
The tax-free majority would, effectively, keep voting itself free services and in general more money from the minority. The minority would be locked into funding everything the majority wants, unable to overcome the political power of the majority moocher class.
The result is a tax system that exempts almost half the country from paying for programs that benefit everyone, including national defense, public safety, infrastructure and education. It is a system in which the top 10 percent of earners — households making an average of $366,400 in 2006 — paid about 73 percent of the income taxes collected by the federal government.
Until, of course, the minority decides to stop making enough money to qualify for a tax burden, decides to stop being a class of suckers. At which time the tax revenue for the government will completely collapse.
Update: Allahpundit asks:
Isn’t the inequity of the income tax a good argument for a consumption tax? The VAT’s as close to a flat tax as we’re ever likely to get.
I’m all for the VAT ifit replaces the current income tax scheme. But as nothing more than an add-on it? It suppresses economic activity and hands over more of our money to Washington to waste.
The ultimate solution would be a flat tax. You pay a steady, certain amount and you’re done. No million pages of tax code or penalization for success. If you make $50,000 per year you pay the same percentage of your income as you would pay if you made $1 million.

LONDON (BNO NEWS) — Libyan Justice Minister Mustafa Mohamed Abud Al Jeleil on Wednesday told a Swedish newspaper that Colonel Muammar al-Gaddafi ordered the 1988 Lockerbie bombing, which killed 270 people.
Al-Jleil told Stockholm-based newspaper Expressen that Gaddafi was the person who gave the order to bomb Pan Am Flight 103, a daily scheduled transatlantic flight from London Heathrow Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
“I have evidence that Gaddafi ordered the Lockerbie bombing,” Al-Jleil was cited as saying by Expressen. “To hide this, he did everything in his power to get Megrahi back from Scotland.”
Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was convicted of being behind the Lockerbie bombing, but was released in 2009 on compassionate grounds and returned to Libya.

What happened, she ran out of Sarah Palin stories to talk about? Seriously, can’t you picture this drama queen walking off the set in a huff? She’s an attention whore and she’s clearly upstaged by Elliot Spitzer, who really runs the show.
Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker actually stormed off the set of the “Parker Spitzer” show during a pre-taping a few weeks ago — furious that her co-host is continually allowed to take charge of their nightly CNN chat-fest, the insiders said.
Although still fuming, Parker did return to wrap up the segment, they said.
But she’s angry that the show’s producers are allegedly doing nothing to play up her strengths on the ailing show, the sources said.
What “strengths” would those be? I’ve seen the show. She can’t even manage what little she does now. She’s boring. She’s annoying. You end up wondering why she’s there to begin with. I’m not Spitzer fan but he’s far better at his job than she is at hers. The show is just bad. And she’s the worst of two bad hosts on a bad show.

Despite the new common wisdom about jet contrails, an editor for Jane’s Defence Weekly says that missile-like objected spotted off the coast of California was definitely a missile.
But Doug Richardson, the editor of Jane’s Missiles and Rockets, examined the video for the Times of London and said he was left with little doubt.
“It’s a solid propellant missile,” he told the Times. “You can tell from the efflux [smoke].”
For its part, the military says the object wasn’t a missile but, contrary to speculation elsewhere, isn’t ready to conclude that it was just a jet’s contrail. So…what else could it be? Well, it may have been a private missile. Although the FAA, which issues licenses for commercial launches, says no launch was scheduled for that day.
I honestly don’t have a clue what this was. You have the military denying it was a missile but then they would do that if it was supposed to be a secret launch, right? Then you have some people say it’s a jet’s contrail. And then you have an editor for Jane‘s saying it was definitely a missile.
Here’s what I do know: More than 24 hours after this thing was spotted, there’s no definitive explanation. And that’s a little worrisome.
Biden: FDR Got on TV in 1929 And Explained Why the Market Crashed
by Nina Prescott
A nice catch by a reader of Michelle Malkin’s. During his interview with Katie Couric on CBS News, Joe Biden (AKA Gaffemaster) had this to say:
“When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ‘look, here’s what happened.’”
Where to start. First of all, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected 1932 — the market crashed in 1929. Second of all, Philo Farnsworth created the first working television in 1928. Again, the market crashed in 1929. FDR got on a device nobody had at a time when he wasn’t president? Joe, get a history book. Good Lord.
Update: Another commenter says that FDR was on television when he gave his inaugural address in 1933. Oy. From Wikipedia:
Commercially available since the late1930s, the television set has become a common communications receiver in homes, businesses and institutions, particularly as a source of entertainment and news.
Emphasis mine. The first televised inaugural address? President Harry Truman’s in 1949.
Update (10/2): I’ve closed the comment section. The spin got just downright pathetic. Folks, even Jon Stewart took the time to make fun of Biden for the comment. Biden was wrong. FDR didn’t get on TV in 1929 to explain the stock market crisis. He wasn’t president and almost no one had a TV. It was a gaffe. Move the hell on.
